Northpole Cafe Pantai Indah Kapuk

This is probably what everyone's hyping and craving about! Since its launching at the end of last year, the growth has been incredibly crazy. This dessert house is not only adorable but also has unique and creative desserts. Let's check it out!

The Northpole Cafe is the name. Located in Pantai Indah Kapuk, where food and beverages industry in Jakarta really blossoms. This dessert house is really hit the ground running. The place is always packed with customers. The concept of this dessert house is they want to bring 'northpole' to Jakarta. The place has two sections, the outer one is more minimalist with some high wooden tables and chairs, this space gets a natural light as there are many glasses at the entrance. The inner section is a bit more dim, not too big in space.

Smoky Pan (IDR 68k)

Phenomenal. I think it's the word to describe this dessert on colorful pan. Added with smoky effect from the dry ice beneath the pan, this Smoky Pan is presented with such a grand manner, inviting our appetite. The pan is colorful, but the ice cream is even more colorful! There are five different flavor scoops of ice cream in the Smoky Pan, they are Thai Ice Tea, Bubblegum, Vanilla, Cherry and Choco Lemon. I personally like the Thai Ice Tea and Bubblegum flavors, the flavors were very rich.
To complete, there are bread crumbs and some colorful sweets. They both were magnificent if combined with the ice cream!

Chick AffogaTea (IDR 35k)
This thing is too adorable to be consumed! I just couldn't resist to have this on my table (who could?). Originally, you can have Chick Affogato and this one is the tea version. Quite interesting. It consists of two scoops of ice cream and to make it as a 'chick', they give two choco chips for the eyes and rice cereals for the beak. Very cute, isn't it?
The tea was a bit bitter, but it turned out to be nice when it poured down to the ice cream. The taste was more like Thai Ice Tea. A perfect substitute for the real affogato.
But again, I still don't have the heart to see this chick melted!

Fruit Loops Cone + Baileys Gelato (IDR 15k + IDR 35k)
The future of ice cream cone! Another popular beside Smoky Pan. While Smoky Pan is for two, this one isn't the one you want to share :p. The cone belted with fruit loops at the top. They use melted marshmallow to stick the fruit loops onto the cone. Good news for you who love Oreo, the cone is also available with Oreo.
The fruit loops make the cone greater, sweeter and more enjoyable to be consumed. Kudos to this invention! Haha.

For a scoop of gelato, it costs you IDR 25k - 35k, depends on the flavor you choose. I picked Baileys gelato - one of the favorites - and it was really good! Love the milky and original Baileys taste, the gelato was also soft.

There are actually some more desserts that worth to try, like Salted Caramel and Waffle, but I had to be content with those three. Their desserts are good and really creative and conceptual, I'm not shocked Northpole Cafe become a top-listed cafe in PIK or Jakarta right now. Trying not to overrate this, but money is well spent here.
They also have mascots named Coco, Waff, Cream. They are adorable and would like to say some greetings from Northpole! :D
