New Menu #HotNFresh From Hokben

Hokben aka Hoka Hoka Bento has been widely known and established in Indonesia from a long time as one of the biggest Japanese food franchise. Hokben was one of my favorite back when I was in high school :). Hokben just launched two new menus recently.
Let's see what they are and how they taste! :D

Introducing, the two new menus from Hokben : Chicken Steak set and Sakana Katsu set! They both come in a very affordable price! Much joy for the wallet (and tummy hehe). These two could be a good deal if you visit Hokben looking for a meal.

Without any further ado, let's reveal them both!

The first one is the Chicken Steak set. This meal consisted of four big chunky slices of grilled chicken coated with glazy Hokben Teriyaki sauce. Some sesame seed on top to make it more delicious. I must say the chicken was good and juicy but the sauce tasted a bit fishy, since they weren't served hot/warm. Ask for the hot/warm one, I think it will taste better.

The meal came with a bowl of trademark Hokben salad of course. The Chicken Steak set was okay for me, but wait for the second one...

The next one is Sakana Katsu set. First thing first, look at the advertisement picture of Sakana Katsu. A full plate of Sakana Katsu, eh? They actually DID serve THAT MUCH in reality haha! Two big generous strips cut into pieces of Sakana Katsu, accompanied by Hokben salad. Sakana itself is a Japanese fish and has a soft texture. The skin was crunchy like the usual Hokben's katsu. I love the texture contrast. The taste? It was perfect, not fishy at all. Unfortunately, the meal wasn't warm enough.
