Trafique Coffee

Daily cup of coffee has become an unmissable lifestyle especially in this metropolitan city. It's like they have a ritual : go to a coffee shop, get one cup and take a sip (don't forget to take photos and upload it to Instagram) in order to be 'accepted by the society'. But whatever your purpose is, coffee is really nice to enjoy actually. I think my opinion just now is backed by many new coffee shops start brewing in Jakarta. Trafique Coffee is one new addition in this crowded Jakarta, in Kebayoran Baru to be precise.
The place should be easily found and recognized by its all-white brick painting, there's also an arrow sign just beside the street pointing to the place. Yet a logo/name sign would be easier to be found.

Trafique has some kind like old-fashioned and minimalist style for the space. In front, there was a unique bright yellow door, looked like a storage room door with the handle also! An iconic quote 'Some coffee + some thinking = great ideas' was crafted on the wall near the door. Inside, it was very spacious with the counters were at the center. Dominantly in white and completed with colorful and antique decorations, they lived up the atmosphere. Some big windows at the back to keep the lighting in balance, while at the counters a dim light softened the mood.

Latte (IDR 30k)
Bold but not too strong, enjoyable in every sip. Very smooth and soothing, the milk itself was distinct. Of course latte will never be complete without latte art, decent and simple latte art that I got there, represented the relaxed mood from the latte. If you want to relax yourself in a quality time, then a cup of latte from Trafique will accompany you best.

Mocha Hazelnut Blended (IDR 50k)
Having yourself a cold drink? Trafique also has its own range of cold drinks and Mocha Hazelnut Blended is one of them. Deep at the first try, but as I kept enjoying it, the mocha and hazelnut flavor came to rise. Good alternative for a classic coffee.

Brownies + ice cream (IDR 15k+5k)
A cup of coffee needs a sweet pair, no? One of the baristas - who is my friend actually - recommended me to try the choco brownies and picked it without any doubt. Served warm and very moist. The brownies texture was smooth and the chocolate taste was oozing every time I took a bite. The top crust with almonds from the brownies was delightful! YUM! I added a scoop of vanilla ice cream to make the brownies even more interesting and it turned out to be a perfect duo! I loved the warm and cold combination! <3

Cheeseburger with French Fries (IDR 45k)
There were not too much options for main course here in Trafique. I just couldn't take my eyes off from the Cheeseburger with French Fries option on the menu. It was a quite simple stack of burger by the first sight, sprinkled with grated cheese on top. The buns were lightly fried with butter, a bit plain, not really buttery in taste. The fries here were okay and the patty was chunky and savory.

Loved the taste from patty - which a bit strong in pepper - tingling my tastebud :p. The cheese overall was a bit too light and plain, losing the sense that I was eating a cheeseburger. A decent meal though.

Trafique has a unique dedicated corner to enjoy some tunes with headphones, cool!

Coffee is all about preferences and for the space as well. Trafique is one clinical and calm space. You can always avoid crazy traffic by visiting Trafique :p.
